Megan Woods Held

Megan Woods Held is a mezzo soprano, early childhood, choral, and general music specialist, and private voice and piano teacher from Plum. She holds a Master’s of Music Education from the University of Akron where she also completed her Bachelor of Arts in Music. After teaching high school choir in Canton, Ohio, she relocated to the Washington DC Metro area and taught several years of elementary general music and choirs and specialized in Autism, Model Asperger’s, and Multiple Learning Needs Programs. Megan returned to Pittsburgh in 2016 and settled back in her hometown of Plum with her husband and children.  Since returning to the area, she began teaching voice and piano at Monroeville Music Lesson Center as well as attending and then teaching Music Together classes in Murrysville. She took over and rebranded Monroeville Music in June 2023 and began Music Together Mosaic Melodies soon after. She is so excited to make Music Together with you and your little ones!
