Camille Pearson

Camille Pearson is a music educator and private vocal coach who recently moved from Shelley, Idaho, to Western Pennsylvania! She is passionate about creating engaging musical experiences that inspire creativity, self-expression, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Most recently, she taught full-time elementary and middle school music in Idaho, conducting daily rehearsals for beginning choir, band, orchestra, percussion, recorder ensemble, and general music students. She earned a Bachelor of Music Education with a choral emphasis from BYU–Idaho and has worked with developing musicians of many ages (K-12), backgrounds, ability levels, and performance credits including private vocal coaching. Through her extensive training in vocal pedagogy, ear training, music history, aural skills, improvisation, composition, piano and vocal performance, Camille brings a well-rounded approach to music education and an appreciation for diverse musical traditions. With more than two decades of vocal and choral experience, she loves performing and has sung in several collegiate-level ensembles, honor choirs, voice recitals, community theater, opera productions, and church choirs. Her other hobbies include painting, reading, and exploring new restaurants on date nights with her husband.

Her teaching philosophy centers on inclusivity, encouragement, and joyful learning. She believes music education extends beyond performance and technique, helping children build confidence, collaborate with others, and discover new ways to express themselves. Whether it is a child exploring rhythm and movement for the first time, a young singer developing their voice, or a family making music together, she enjoys helping others experience the personal and social benefits that music can bring. These experiences have deepened her belief that music has a transformational power to nurture resilience, inspire imagination, bring people together, and enrich lives.
